Thank you for visiting the City of Talladega’s web page. While we are known as the home of NASCARS most competitive race track, we have a city that is a "good place" to live. Affordable housing, local events, excellent retail stores, a vibrant downtown and geographical location that Talladega offers should be considered if you are thinking about relocating to a new city.

The City of Talladega provides the better of two worlds for living in a rural setting and having the availability of major retail centers in Birmingham, Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia. For added convenience, the nearby cities of Anniston, Pell City, Lincoln and Sylacauga provide numerous opportunities for shopping and cultural experiences. If you like the outdoors, Cheaha State Park, home of Cheaha Mountain, which at 2,407 feet is the highest peak in Alabama, is only a 20 minute drive from town.
