Located in Southwest Alabama, and approximately 40 miles east of Montgomery and 125 miles southwest of Atlanta, Georgia.  Tuskegee, Alabama, maintains and rejoices n its historically enriched background.  Tuskegee served as the home of famous educators such as Booker T. Washington, George Washington Carver, William Levi Dawson; and is the birthplace of Rosa Parks "Mother of the Civil Rights Movement" and many others.

Tuskegee is famous for being the home of the Tuskegee Airmen, which were also know as 'Lonely Eagles'. Tuskegee is also well known for being the home of the great Tuskegee Normal and Industrial School which today is known as Tuskegee University.
